Three Imperial Mushrooms is a formulation of the most potent “medicinal mushrooms” in terms of immune enhancement. Based on research carried out in China and Japan, these mushrooms have been shown to contain certain constituents that are believed to boost the body’s immunity. Ganoderma (G. Lucidum) is commonly known as Ling Zhi in China or Reishi in Japan, contains several beneficial constituents, including polysaccharides, sterols, triterpenoids and coumarin, which support the immune system at the cellular level. Maitake has been confirmed in recent studies more potent than any of the previously studied medicinal mushrooms in terms of immune enhancement. Shiitake mushroom has excellent nutritional value containing proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamin B2, vitamin C, ergosterol (a precursor to vitamin D), and a variety of minerals and enzymes.
